The Comfort Zone

I used to have a comfort zone
where I knew I couldn’t fail,
The same four walls of busy work
were really more like a jail

I longed so much to do the things
I’d never done before,
But I stayed inside my comfort zone
and paced the same old floor

I said it didn’t matter
that I wasn’t doing much,
I said I didn’t care for things
like diamonds or furs and such

I claimed to be so busy
with the things inside my zone,
But deep inside I longed for
something special of my own

I couldn’t let my life go by
just watching others win,
I held my breath and stepped outside
to let the change begin

I took a step and with new strength
I’d never felt before,
I kissed my comfort zone good bye
and closed and locked the door

If you are in a comfort zone
afraid to venture out,

Over the last couple of months I have been watching and paying close attention to this particular training portal and thinking everyday that this cannot be free..

As it turns out, they are really training people for free and I realized that through this entire time, I have not paid a dime for all that I have received..

This was a shock to me because I kept waiting for that email to come telling me that my 14 day trial was over and that I needed to throw some monthly money at them. That email obviously never came.

I guess these people are truly giving this amazing valuable training for free.. I didn’t believe it and I know you probably don’t either so swing by and check it out and if they ever try to charge you for your membership we’ll kick their A**. JK

How I Changed My Relationship With God.

This is a bit of a different type of post for me, this has nothing to do with Coffee or Business or even Network Marketing. This has everything to do with my spiritual life and I hope it serves you as well in many ways.

Seems like when my relationship with God is great, it’s when I feel down and out and when my life is going smooth it seems like I’m far away from the path of my faith. That was the case almost my entire life. When I needed God to fix something that I had screwed up. I was there trying to be in good standing, trying to live my faith and as soon as He would fix it, I was gone.

I felt bad many times because I really felt as if I was using what I knew about God to manipulate the situation and I knew that God is not stupid and that He knew what was going on. That all changed because I made a decision to accept my responsibility and to accept the consequences of the actions that I take.

Everything stars with a decision and my decision came as a result of me wanting to at minimum be honest with God. I knew He wasn’t fooled and that eventually I would be answering some very tough questions but for some reason I didn’t really care earlier in my life.

I said to myself, “If I screw up, I’m just going to admit it and whatever happens as a result, I will be ok. with it and take it like a man”, From that day forward, I feel so much better, having an open relationship with God has allowed me to truly be free. So many times I felt like Adam hiding my naked body from He who created me.

My message to you today is this, be honest with God, be open. He already knows what you do every second of every day and imagine what it really looks like. I have 4 boys and there have been times when I catch one of them in the act of doing something that they shouldn’t be and to my face, although I saw them, they have the nerve to try to hide from me or deny what I have seen. Imagine that is exactly how God is. I get upset at the fact that one of my kids must think that I’m an idiot and the consequences are different at that point. I tel them, if only you would but just be honest and if you screw up, just trust me enough to tell me.

Be honest with God, He sees you anyway. This will lift the heavier loads off your shoulders and you will feel great. God is good and He wants to have a real relationship with you.

TWELVE POINTS ON ATTITUDE

1. It is your attitude at the beginning of a task more than anything else that will determine your success or failure.

2. It is your attitude towards life that will determine life’s attitude towards you. Despite many people’s belief to the contrary, life pays no favorites.

3. You control your attitude. If you are negative it is because you have decided to be negative and not because of other people or circumstances.

4. Act as if you have a good attitude. Remember actions trigger feelings just as feelings trigger actions.

5. Before a person can achieve the kind of results he wants, he must first become that person. He must then think, walk, talk, act and conduct himself in all of his affairs, as would the person he wishes to become.

6. Treat everybody as the most important person in the world.

7. Attitudes are based on assumptions. In order to change attitudes one must first change one’s assumptions.

8. Develop the attitude that there are more reasons why you should succeed than reasons why you should fail.

9. When you are faced with a problem, adopt the attitude that you can and will solve it.

10.We become what we think about. Control your thoughts and you will control your life.

11. Radiate the attitude of confidence, of well being, of a person who knows where he is going. You will then find good things happening to you right away.

12. In order to develop a good attitude, take charge first thing in the morning. Do you say, “Good morning, Lord” or “Good Lord, morning?”

Read these twelve points every day for the next thirty days
and see how your life changes.
